I know they aren't dangerous.
We save them. :)
We put in a safe place with plenty of food.
Second to :iconjymsfr: and :iconcaelitha: ,they're Dynastor darius - a type of owl butterfly. ;)
So, there it is. =)

My Dad and I was looking at our Garden.
And we saw something in the bromeliad.
And when we approached, we saw these giant caterpillars (about 13 centimeters).
And we saw only one and then saw the other 4!
The bromeliad was all eaten by the caterpillars.
My mother was terrified. XD

to getting to know what caterpillar it is its very important to know WHERE you found them..in which countr...on what day etc...because its important to know when they are in this stage..in which climate and so on...

Where : Ponta Grossa - Paraná - Brazil
In which plan: Bromeliad.
Climate: Tropical Summer
Day's climate : cloudy / rainy .
Eating a lot.
Size about 8cm to 13 cm.
Two differents color : light and dark green.

I've been watching them since yesterday ,need more info?
